One is too good to be true the other is too true to be good. I'd take them, easier to sell Vida to some of the Mordor orcs at West Brom or Stoke in six months time than to acquire Dembele when he'll be close to 40 goals+assists in January

kicker is linking us with jerome boateng. he's a class player when healthy and better than anyone we have, but this makes no sense especially at that price. and bayern aren't a team "hoping" to qualify for the champions league and if they're willing to offload him and replace him with pavard then we should be going after pavard because if he's good enough for them he's good enough for us.

That last part makes no sense to me. Obviously players will choose the likes of Bayern, Real and Barca before us, so it's exactly when they're upgrading we should be alert on who they're offloading. Not that I'm especially keen on Boateng, I'm just talking generally.

Seen a rumour on Twitter that suggests there a possibility of Boateng > PSG and Kimpembe > Arsenal as the knock on effect.

Highly doubtful but boy that'd be sweet.

Boateng looked poor at the World Cup, and 40m for a soon to be 30yr old is a lot of money.

With Chambers going out I'm guessing we are bringing someone in though, hopefully it is someone of the profile of Kimpembe rather than Boateng or god forbid, Vida.

Kike has been ok with transfers this year, also one of the first if not the first that talked about Unai to Arsenal.

He says we are looking for a cheap CB and are looking to move players out.
So yeah...more Vida then Boateng 😆 😆
