It's really does take you down a peg. Essien was world class before and poor back up after. Owen was so bad after. Even frimpong looked good on loan at wolves has dropped 2 or 3 divisions. Theo is a shadow of himself.

Yeah but he did his ACL very early in his career at 20 or 21, think I've read somewhere that ligament injuries at that stage aren't as bad as when you hit your prime. I've seen a few matches after he came back and he's as rapid as he was before, not much slower if at all than Theo pre-ACL and and definitely faster with the ball at his feet.

What you tend to see is the first few games back they look fine they're that full of adrenaline. But then slump.

Depends on the ligament no player has torn an acl aged 14 or below and made it to be a professional footballer.

The odd player is just that good that post injury they have a lot to offer.Overmars and pires were two that bounced back really well but they are firmly in the minority.

I've never seen the big deal with Jese either. Dangerous dribbler with serious holes in his game. I always thought Morata looked more talented and complete.

Arsène Wenger has been told that he can have whatever transfer funds it takes to secure his main targets Alexandre Lacazette and Shkodran Mustafi.

Pages to fill and someones jobs is to fill them.

Wenger mentioned before you have to give the journalists a story otherwise they'll make something up or write and arsenal in crisis pice or something else annoying. That's why on a slow news day he'll say we nearly signed ****. We shouldn't have a Christmas window, ect. It's all just feeding the beast.
