Saw something interesting at work today via an ITK at another EPL club with a claimed 90% success rate by club supporters. He has given an update on several of their transfer targets, and has said that they are no longer in the running for either Rahchid Ghezzal or Karim Bellarabi because AFC are in advanced talks with both.
Wouldnt mind them instead of Ox and Theo.
Would like Bellarabi here, never heard of Ghezzal.
L'equipe saying Wenger will take spending to the next level and wants one of Higuain, Morata or Vardy
Says Giroud won't be first choice
I'd like us to get Vardy

Higuain.
Don't want Vardy.
Vardy reminds me of Ian Wright, would definitely have him as an option.
Would rather have Vardy than almost all the options we've been linked with this summer. Bloke is full of win.

Yeah definitely Wrighty-esque. I'd happily take Vardy. Him and Sanchez together would be a nightmare for defences, they'd never get a minutes peace.
Vardy would be great. Mesut would love him.
wouldnt say no to vardy on the cheap for a couple of seasons
no more waiting for better days or keeping powder dry
Just wondering if AW is still looking at bang for his buck? If so then the likes of Vardy & Kante with their reported 20m release clauses represents both good value for money and upgrades in needed areas. Even Vardy as a short term 1 deal option would seem like a good option for 20m. The biggest issue would be that Vardy represents a very different style of play.

Not that different to Welbeck though.

Biggest difference being the most important - Vardy wants to score goals whereas Welbeck still looks to play for the team. Vardy won't make the in to out runs to drag the CBs and open space in the centre for others we see from Welbeck. Vardy will want to be getting onto the end of the moves to score himself much like Suarez.
I think Vardy does make those runs that stretch the defence, the difference is, as you said, that he has a hunger for goals that Welbeck lacks.
Yeah, Vardy for me is one of the best players in the league at stretching defences. He's incredibly tenacious. He created a lot of chances for his teammates that way this past season.

Vardy is a bit like Suarez: Runs after everything and puts constant pressure on the defensive line.
He's also a good finisher

Vardy's movement is good in the build up, but when the ball is around that area he looks to get into scoring positions. Welbeck often looks to make runs out of the area to create space when we are passing the ball around outside the area for the likes of Sanchez to exploit.
