Yup. Scotland gets 6 hours more than us but it's irrelevant in our context unless we are loaning players out there.

I highly doubt we are going to get anyone from Europe, especially a top player on the last day because of this.

Wanyama left out for Soton due to mental issues. Some dodgy sources saying its us and Spurs after him, others Liverpool. I'd take him as back up/rotation for Coq quite similar players, though Coq is more positionally disciplined.

Yeah, he's been a huge surprise. Was he really that good last year, did Bayern get lucky or are they just brilliant at scouting players?

He was always a highly rated talent. I remember he was really closely linked to ManU for a couple of seasons when he was at Gremio. But yeah, I think Bayern have been lucky considering the way he fell off the radar since he moved to Ukraine.

He didn't even look remotely like the player he is now, I've seen one or two Shakhtar matches just a few months ago and he didn't stand out at all. Can't think of any player improving this ridiculously fast in the past.

That'd make him a 20 goal a season striker so right now, yes, he'd be worth it

I don't agree with that either, even if we were to assume Giroud is good enough to win the league with, he still has no cover. And Giroud is very reliant on being fully fit to score goals.

I don't think Higuain's going to change things on his own, but between him, Giroud, Walcott and Sanchez we at least have options.

He's been unsettled there the last 12 months though. He'd been good for them prior. Seems like it should be a signing right up wengers alley

I'd take Higuaín at this point and just hope he can recapture his early Madrid form. Just don't let him take penalties. That being said, I don't really trust Kike when it comes to non-Spanish stuff, why would he have any links with Arsenal, Napoli or Higuaín?
