Benzema had all the technical skills and physical attributes to become one of the best strikers of his, or perhaps any, generation. So far he has produced maybe one or two top seasons in his entire career, last year being one of them. I think it's fair so say he's been a more complete and less extraordinary player than Cavani with that in mind.
