We should hope for Di Maria to Bayern really and/or Zlatan going back to Italy because then there's no chance of Cavani leaving regardless.

And were not stupid enough to hang everything on Benzema and then end up with nothing come September. We'll be monitoring everything and weighing it up.

Anyway, all things being equal, Benzema or Cavani?

Of course i would take either one too, but Cavani is not as dynamic as Benzema so i prefer the frenchman.

That said, i feel United will go for a big striker, so we'll have to see how it shapes out. Cavani feels like the type that would easily accept their big £ offer. With Benzema its easy, we have Wenger.

More for Benzema, but I'm surpsied it's so split.

I suppose consensus would be that Cavani is the better goalscorer of the two but Benzema the better all-round footballer?

Benzema is not 'clearly' better than Cavani. Personally, I don't think he is better at all, hence why I'd rather have Cavani.

Tough question, little between them. I'd take Benz, not as lethal as he used to be but better on the ball and he's used to stronger opposition, knows a couple of our players already as well.

Might as well discuss having Messi or Ronaldo in our team though.
