Hmmm I guess if monreal is looking for a move back to sunny Spain we probably enquired about a ton of left backs. You'd be suprised about the amount of unrealistic calls agents get.
Alaba would play in midfield, that's where he sees himself, and the major reason for why there may be a tiny chance of it happening.

Seems Guardiola preferred Bernat at LB last season, or was that because Alaba was injured? In midfield it isn't easy to tie down a starting spot at Bayern; Alonso and Lahm are sure starters, and I'd bet big money on Guardiola preferring Alcantara over Alaba. May actually be an opening for both the player and the club to consider a transfer, if the fee and wages are right of course.
