The missus and I are just starting season 1 after years of thinking we should watch it. Loving it so far.
Speaking of The West Wing, I just signed up to Netflix so I could watch House of Cards 😉
The first episode is just super. I love Kevin Spacey.
Watched the first 2 at the weekend. Seems great so far.
Watched four tonight with some bourbon (seemed appropriate). Love it.
House of Cards is excellent. Plus, i've fancied Robin Wright for the last 20 years.
Timbo, 10ish, stares at 13 inch telly, eyes wide:
'As ... you ... wish!'
She has a very weird hole in her neck.
Really, really impressed by The Americans so far. If they can keep it up it'll be one of the best things on TV.
Anyone watching the following? Tis Bon. Tres Bon
Enjoyed the first episode of The Americans (NZ managed to get it just a couple of days after screening in the US). The following starts here on Monday so will give it a go.
I watched about 20 minutes of the Following and turned it off.
You're missing out
Nah its not for me. Cos its shit.
The Walking Dead returns tonight
House of Cards is great. It's 'dirtiness' makes The West Wing look like a political fairy tale.
i might start watching the walking dead. everything i've heard about it is always mixed, but recently it seems people think it's the best thing since sliced bread?
Watched the first episode of The Following today. Good storyline but very gory, kind of like Criminal Minds (which I've never watched because of how graphic it is).

It's pretty good overall. If you're not hooked after the first few episodes then it's just not the right show for you so give it a try and see. It does go through a real dip in the second season but the third season is much better.
Just read that BBC2 axed The Hour. That's a shame. I really liked it.
