The battle scenes were piss poor. No scope at all. No sense of how vast Stannis's army was or how many ships he tried to attack with. They tried to cover it with an insane amount of cuts but it just created a sense of lack of continuity. It was great to see a full episode where they didn't alternate between three or four POV characters though. Dinklage had some of his finest moments all season too. He has to be a shoe-in for another Emmy nomination.
Is he going to go in for best actor or best supporting this year though? You could make a pretty strong argument he's been the male lead in this season.
And as great as he is he'll have serious competition in either category this year. I'm hoping Vincent Kartheiser gets some recognition this year in the supporting category as well Aaron Paul and yer man Pitt from Boardwalk. Leads is going to strong as ever with Hamm, Cranston, Lewis, Buscemi, etc
