Not really feeling Game of Thrones yet. Aidan Gillen's character is so boring and predictable. I don't understand why he's given so much screen time. Joffrey's abysmal evil is getting a bit old too. I get the feeling that I should've read the books before I started watching. Not sure the story with so many POV characters fit the television format. There's already too much going on and as I understand it'll only get worse.
Take the last episode for instance: Joffrey's being a cunt - twice. Cut to a little bit of politics where Dinklage blackmails his cousin. Then to Gillen looking boring while doing something boring. Then to Arya sitting in a puddle of mudd cursing Joffrey. Then to Daenarys looking for water. Then to the gay king arguing with his brother over who's got the bigger army. And then some lady gave birth to the smoke monster from Lost. I just don't know what to make of it.
I peeked on Wikipedia a while back to see what happens to most of the characters and it sounds pretty interesting in theory, but the only two characters with real presence at the moment are the imp and the imprisoned Lannister, and the latter one has been on screen for about thirty seconds so far this season. The most interesting storyline so far is the Knights of the Watch, and they've been fucking around in the woods for four episodes.
