Justified takes a while to really get going. The first few episodes are a bit "story of the week" but once the big story arcs kick in its brilliant.

i actually liked Jusitified from the first episode.. the little comments about the hat or the boots and the little digs are hilarious. and i love Walter Goggins' character (such a difference from The Shield)..

The "Seven Devils" GoT trailer was insanely awesome.
Spartacus: Vengeance has started a little weaker than Blood & Sand and Gods of the Arena.
Dexter is awesome. Season 4 now, started two weeks ago.

I noticed the Awake pilot got a pefect ten by IGN, anyone seen it?

Have been slowly re-watching the Wire. Just got to the episode where Prop Joe utters the following immortal lines:

I got motherfuckin' nephews and in-laws fucking all my shit up all the time and it ain't like I can pop a cap in their ass and not hear about it Thanksgivin' time. For real, I'm livin' life with some burdensome niggers.

Fool, if it wasn't for Sergei here, you and your cuz both would be cadaverous motherfuckers.

Did ye know Goggins was only supposed to be in the pilot but he was so good they made him a long term character. Boyds supposed to die in the first episode.

this was one of the best lines in all 5 seasons of the Wire.. (then again, there are about 10 more that i could add to that like "lets take this faggit out back and get into some diabolical brutality"

i watched the pilot of Awake.. the wife and i were looking very forward to it.. wont bother watching the second episode.. it was quite honestly boring as f*ck and not at all what we were hoping.. we would have given it a 3 or 4

That second line is one of my all time favourite lines. And it's delivered so matter of factly as well. Just great stuff.

Shield update: I've just finished the first disc of the final series. Thought the 6th series went a bit quiet once Vic worked out what happened at the end of series 5, but this final series is, not surprisingly, upping the ante by the episode. Loving it.

Bought and watched both series of Sherlock and thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved the re-working of Moriarty.

The Moriarty character tips towards pantomime but has enough of an icy cold edge to prevent him from jarring.

Moriarty was pretty decent. Damn sight better than watching Lane from Mad Men try it on in the Downey version.

I thought his theatrics worked very well; so smart that everyone else bored him and he had to entertain himself. Reminded me of a young Pepe LeFrits...
