Anyone watching Charlie Brooker's new comedy tonight?

Before I knew it was a comedy (the advert was a bit more subtle than the trailer above!), I kept seeing the advert on Sky recently and thinking there's no way they've called a new detective show "Touching Cloth". 😆

Season 5 of Breaking Bad so far is my favorite.

I love what Walt has turned into. Thats exactly what I wanted to see happen to Dexter, turn into all out serial killer mode, but they've decided to carry on going around in circles.

Been catching up on Breaking Bad. The last two episodes were brilliant. Bit unrealistic in the sense that methylamine is fairly easy to make, especially for a guy like Walt, but it turned into a terrific storyline. The shot with the spider in the glass jar reminded me of something from Through a Glass Darkly, but I can't recall the specific scene.

Not reading any of the above... just finished season two(!) of Breaking Bad.

The show's fantastic, my main problem is that I can't stand any character except Jesse, and terrible terrible things keep happening to him. Walt really is a horrible ego-maniac scumbag. But I'm guessing we're supposed to think that?

I don't think it's a spoiler any more to point out that Walter White is an unbelievably awful person, no ... 🙂

He is? I like to think of him more as a practical, rational, intelligent individual, even if a bit cold-blooded and manipulative. Thoroughly enjoying his character metamorphosis.

I love Walt. I hope they don't do something silly like make him realise the error of his ways and turn him into an emotional wreck like Jesse.

it's only unrealistic if you know, I didn't!

It's still unrealistic. Only difference is that you didn't know. 😉

But yeah, it's just a minor detail. Come think of it, the huge amount they get their hands on would be hard to synthesise too without someone getting suspicious.
