Saw a comment from Perry Groves that raised an interesting financial option = that Kroenke provides additional funding by way of a loan, and there has already been the precedent with Fizsman's non-interest bearing loan to the club.
As such IMO it would need to be a 'war chest' and probably around 300m or more if we want to regain top4/CL any time soon. The reality is that the club needs to offload most of the senior players in terms of wages, and we are not going to generate much in terms of revenues when we do so, and the only benefit we gain is to reduce our bloated wages. 70m+ increase re new kit & TV deals is fine to sustain the squad, but not in terms of any rebuild that intends to regain top4.
IMO it's easy 'brownie points' for Kroenke as a massive show of good faith, & I don't think too many supporters would complain about paying a non-interest bearing loan back to the owner.
