Yeah, Rugani is a world class defender just waiting to happen. Barzagli, who in my opinion has been the best centreback in the world these last 5 years, called him his heir recently. Stylistically it makes a lot of sense.
The only problem is that he desperately needs to play. He's coming off a season where he played like 5 games. If we buy him and put him behind Gabriel or some similar bullshit we're just gonna wreck his development. It would be pointless for both us and him. If Juventus have any sense they'll loan him out this summer, maybe to Empoli again. Barzagli is 35 now. He won't play forever. They already have the perfect replacement for him when the day comes.
