This just seems like very un-arsenal. We are either discreet or we conclude negotiations quickly. Every time we have had a saga like this is either player looking for a new contract or just hot air.

Yep, turned them both down and said he wants to leave. Guardian reporting that they met yesterday and he was told that he's not being sold and that he accepted it, but no sign of him wanting to sign a new deal.

Someone is being fed BS though and I'm going to say it's the french.

most sources reckon he's on 35-50k and has been offered 80k but he wants more, hence why this could all be a stunt to get leicester to cough up more

You wouldn't know who is playing what games. Maybe he does want out and Leicester don't want to look like they're letting him go easy. Maybe his agents full of shit. I find Lequipes instance unusual though.

Not feeling the Mahrez rumours. I've been convinced for a while that Mustafi is our centreback target though. I think Wenger would have gone for Höwedes if he'd been a year or two younger.

Will Mustafi complement Kos? How do you rate him, Klaus?

I like him a lot. I didn't watch Valencia much last season but I felt he was Germany's best defender at the Euros. He has the right age and skillset and is reportedly coming off a strong season. This seems like a good time to pick him up.

On one hand it does sound like the agent trying to get him a better contract but on the other hand why would the agent make up stories about Arsenal putting in a bid? Leicester would obviously know he is bullshitting.
