Not very keen. Probably just had his best season, he's a great player but I'd rather we signed next season's Mahrez along with a top striker.

It might not excite me in the context of building up an expectation of success, but it would certainly make me look forward to watching us next season if we had an injection of 3-4 top players into the squad demoting/replacing guys like Theo, Giroud, Flamini and Mert/Gabriel.

Do you follow another team? I follow RB Leipzig and Schalke. It's good to get away from Arsenal sometimes. Giving your all with little return is draining. So just taking a casual interest in another team, not expecting anything, just to enjoy the football.

honestly the only thing that would excite me is wenger leaving and simeone coming in. we're beyond class players at this point, they'll just turn to shit under wenger so what is the point of getting excited about messi when wenger will turn him into shit or he'll start getting injured.

Seeing as Ox, Campbell and Theo got plenty of game time this year I'd have no problem with Mahrez coming in to displace one of them. But as others have said - he wouldn't solve our goal scoring problems and may in fact slow us down even further.
