Hopefully this lad can slot right in and do the business in midfield in spite of Wengers instructions and tactics.

Looks to have the necessary gravitas, determination and drive this team is crying out for and which has been lacking for years thanks to Arsene's prolonged negligence.

Seems to have a sweet wand of a left foot on him aswell.

I actually give a little more credit to Wenger here than many of you seem to do. Identifying players has never really been Wenger's problem, and I'm convinced he is paying top dollar for this cat because he appreciates the attributes he brings. I don't think Wenger wants to curb anything in Xhaka's game; on the contrary, I worry that Wenger will want him to 'express himself' more on the pitch, rather than being the disciplined player he currently is.

Vieira is never more unfortunately, they broke the mould with him.

Kante might be a decent fit alongside a chap like Xhaka. Wenger won't make any more signings in that department as he's now well stocked with options.

Essentially Vidal was the man to get last season but instead of Dilly Ding Dilly Dong we have fucking Dilly Dally in charge.

And Coq is 25. Its a good group with different strengths. Hopefully we will see some of them gel next season.

Why the delay in announcing if this is so done that he's had the photo shoot? Are we still quibbling over the fee and it's not a done deal with his club yet?

I think we're just waiting until we can formally register him as a player. We didn't announce Podolski until the transfer window had opened either.

I stand corrected. I was sure we didn't announce that transfer until long after the fact.

Qs: I think the transfer window opens on July 1st this year.

Yeah wondered if it couldn't be announced until the window officially opens but we have announced signings earlier before so makes me feel like its not actually done and we still might mess it up.
