Huge talent is a bit much. He was impressive for a team in League One.
This guy's whole reel consists of the <20 games he's played in all of his career, don't think there's much basis for comparison here

Exactly signing exciting young talents like Ox is a never a bad thing. Hanging onto them if they don't work out is a problem.
doubtful. first off his "highlights" wouldn't include as much end product because his stats show it didn't exist at dembele levels at a similar age or now in fact. a few seasons of highlights combined maybe.

We hang onto them too long hoping they will work out.
On the other hand, we don't hang on to them once they come good.
better or worse than Inaki Williams?
For the record, I'm firmly in the camp that spending on really talented youngsters is a good thing. 🙂
I imagine we won't sign Rennes' dembele as that would kill reine Adelaide.
I seriousness I see us needing to spend a considerable sum this year just to refresh the players who will be going into the latter stages of their careers.

Can't really compare them as Inaki is more of a striker who can play on the wings while Dembele looks like a goalscoring winger a la Ronaldo. Haven't seen enough of the Frenchman to give a substantiated opinion.

Whats the point Wenger is still the manager.
that would be his excuse even though they aren't even remotely similar players ... because he thinks we're stupid anyway.
That Dembele looks too good for us
james, isco, and goetze might all realistically be on the market. gimme one of them and zlatan

how on earth does James go on market? i would drop 60-70m without thinking if i was in charge of the kitty. that's a bonafide don.

Forget James, he is a client of someone we do not do business with.
We must buy one of these guys and a striker this summer. Come on Wenger. Show us you still have a little bit of belief.
Daryl Janmaat might be a good, cheap RB pickup if Wenger deems Jenkinson not good enough to take back this summer
Good shout. Should have just gotten him that time.
Don't think any Newcastle defender is a good option.
Think Jenks will be good enough as a backup option, given that we have Chambers also.
