No, Claud and Boss are right in that we bid for Higuain and Suarez in the same summer, but that smelt less like Plan A/Plan B and more like opportunism. Plan B is something that gets activated if Plan A doesn't work and not something that gets activated while simultaneously ditching Plan A in the process. In any case, even if you consider that to be a Plan B, it is certainly something that hasn't been demonstrated in any of the other windows past. Exhibit A - that we still have Olivier Giroud upfront. If nothing else works, I'd like to see a Dortmund-style strategy, especially now that we have experience across the team in Cech, Kos, Ozil, Sanchez - 3/4 who have won stuff at various levels and excelled.
