Cmon, Coutinho is on another level than Theo as a footballer.

He'll score a goal or two and then go three months without doing anything before popping up with a screamer again. He probably comes across as a brilliant player to people who only watch highlights.

He's got 5 goals and 5 assists in just 18 appearance this season, not too shabby IMO. His playing style can't be measured purely on output only, because he provokes defenders with his dribbling a lot, creating space for others. Proper big game player as well, I swear he scores a screamer or a worldie whenever they need him the most.

Then I'm sure that Liverpool fans, who undoubtedly watch more him play more than you and I, must share in your assessment and rate him accordingly

Klaus is chatting shit, as he does every once in a while

Coutinho is a proper player.

Liverpool fans also rate Sakho as the best centreback in the league, who cares what they think. Home blindness is a real thing, especially at a club that has very little else going for it.

Coutinho is very talented, but until he finds a way to perform for more than two weeks at a time he's not going to be considered a top level player. He's got time on his side on one hand, but I don't think he's ever going to create or score frequently with his style.

How do you guys think we'd go in the Europa?

Agreed that fans are biased but funnily enough, Sakho is the other player on that side who's actually quality in my view, not world class mind you, and yet others don't rate him based on a few howlers in his first few months in the Prem. Not unlike how other fans viewed Koscielny. To each his own.

Aaron Ramsey was talked about as a potential top player coming into the season. Aaron Ramsey is 25. Phillipe Coutinho is 23. But you're right, we'll have to wait and see. You'd think if he can't perform under Klopp, he wouldn't perform for anyone

.

Coutinho is a proper player. Much better than Ramesy and Cazorla. Would love him at Arsenal.

i wish we'd fallen to Europa League. Champs League is a waste of our time. 6 straight seasons of being shifted in the last 16. why even bother?

at least now, we'd be looking forward to match-ups we might just win if Theo does more than 17 touches in 60 minutes.

I'm on the Ramsey-critical side of the board and even I'd say this comparison holds no water. Ramsey in 13/14 (aged 23) had one season where you'd genuinely expect him to become a top player, Coutinho never showed anything like it.

Takes way too many potshots for my liking and his passing isn't good enough to become top class as a #10, similar to Eriksen.

..might want to revisit Cazorla's career.

Coutinho better than Cazorla? Maybe a better goal scorer or at least a scorer of greater goals, but Coutinho will be very happy if in 5 years he's become as good a footballer as Cazorla is now.

Coutinho better than Cazorla have a fucking word, should be at -80 for that post alone.

Liverpool is playing Dortmund next! Should be a good match to watch.

Eriksen is already a top class #10
