Mustafi couldn't get into the match squad for Everton during that time.

Alonso's a good player. He's used to a three-man defence too which seems to be what Conte is gunning for. I thought Barca were going to take him after all the reports about them watching him last year.

Alonso is a really solid wing back, a bit like Monreal. Not flashy but gets the job done. He was pretty decent at Bolton anyway when he was young there. 24m is way over priced but who isn't in this window?

Lehmann, who's in Singapore right now gave an interview to us and the most interesting comment he made was that Mustafi is an awful buy. He says he is way overpriced, we are not spending our money wisely because Mustafi is not a leader nor a thinker on the pitch.
