I used to think similar about guys moving to Qatar, China etc but then you have to take into account that some of these guys see a life outside of football for them. I wouldn't rule out moving to China at 28 for a big payday if I were in Ramires's shoes, he won everything there is to win and might be planning ahead of retirement for his long term future.
Not every football player is an Adebayor i.e. golden Bentleys etc, some go into politics like Romario, others like Arturo Vidal have entire villages who are financially dependent on his help; in those cases it's the most sensible and commendable choice to make as much money off of rich club owners to put those funds to better use elsewhere.
That said fuck Ramires, glad to see him gone.
