Arsenal coming Down Under - matchdays on Thu 13 Jul & Sat 15 Jul

I know. I've actually never seen Arsenal play live in my whole life. I was really excited about this when the tour was announced, but I really have no interest in going now. It will cost me a fair bit to travel and stay in Sydney from where I live and I really can't justify it when I'm no longer looking forward to it. Sad but true. Plus they'll probably just play a shit line up anyway!

I'm not saying I don't want to go just out of principle. I'm saying I'm no longer even excited by the prospect. I'd be going just because I feel I 'should' as a life-long fan that has never seen them live. And I don't feel like that's a reason that I'm particularly comfortable with.

Yeah, I’m going to both games and probably spending way too much money on it turning it into an almost 3 week holiday! Admit I did feel like I didn’t want to go at points during this season but a little difficult to pull out when the other half has been promised the holiday! Just have to remember the club is always bigger than one man, and we may never get another chance to see our team. I’m also excited by the prospect of seeing the FA Cup if they bring it, and ANZ Stadium posted on Facebook that there were plans to.

Just make sure you have the other half taking pictures. Only time I've been to see Arsenal I spent half the time behind the camera and didn't actually enjoy the game. :/

Which is why I'm not going despite never having seen the play in the flesh so to speak, and despite all my LFC, ManU & Spuds mates from work having been to them play of late.
