Yeah, pretty embarrassing stuff. Seems to me Norway as a country is inherently unable to commit to the footballing views that Western civilisation as a whole holds important. Recent Pew Research polls have confirmed that most Norwegians think that way, seems like it's a biological predisposition they have.

I wish, as I told you I am not a big fan of that [award]. What is important is we are a team sport, and it’s not logical to me to just encourage individual effort. We live already in a society where it’s all about individualism. Coming from a team sport going to that as well is to me a little bit contradictory to what is the route of our sport.
