Can he play as a CF, seems a bit lacking stamina to play wide.
Nolito

His move was from a third tier team to another team from the same division, except for a couple of appearances for the first team where he made himself known his highest level of experience before his move to Benfica at 25 was one season in Liga Adelante.
So it was his own fault then that he went to a club where he'd play reserve football instead of regular first team football.
Barcelona B is not a team of reserves, they field their own full team in the third and then second tier of Spain. The Spanish league system (similar to the German one) works differently to the one in England, reserve teams play in the same league pyramid as their first teams.

"For £13m" isn't really the issue. Wenger never says "oh well he was only £13m so I'll get someone in ahead of him cos I can". At 29 he'd need to be a dead cert and I'm not convinced. If its a January signing I would take him but not next summer.
Anyway he liked an instagram something. We've seen so many times that means fuck all.
I'm not sure I see it with Nolito, although I admit I've only seen him a couple times.
And remember the fee is only one part of what he costs - you have to factor in the cost of the contract he'll receive. That's what makes a purchase like Danny Welbeck extraordinarily wasteful.
The club's chef is probably on more than Nolito is at the moment. Even if his wages were tripled as the media think he'd be around Coquelin level I reckon.
Also he's not too old, same age as Suarez.

edit: Candreva is also available for 20m euros too.
What do people see with Candreva? I mean he is decent but abit of jack of all trades for me. Don't really impress me.
Mundo reporting we are negotiating a transfer.
Not seen this guy play - haven't watched much La Liga for a long while - I just watched a couple of videos and he looks like Cazorla a couple of years ago when he played wide left. So for those that want him here, why? Doesn't excite me in the slightest, maybe I'm missing something?
Looks about as slow as Arteta, which concerns me a lot.
Ricky, that's how he looks to me as well.
Nolito scores a lot more than Cazorla for starters. He's also a winger who's played forward whereas Cazorla was more a winger who sometimes played CM

Think Riquelme.
You don't need to have pace playing in central midfield, but it is a serious handicap if you play on the flank. On top of that, Riquelme was a fucking genius, and I doubt this cat is that.
Looks nifty on the ball and having a great season, but he looks old and suspect to physical decline quite soon.
Other options out there I'd rather go with
looks pretty average in most areas. no thanks
