Feeeeeeooooooooo and Chambo are both out, who the fuck will play on the wing? The likely candidate is Campbell, it seems like a make or break match for his Arsenal career.
Streams:
FT: Swansea 0 - 3 Arsenal
[0-1 Giroud]
[0-2 Koscielny]
[0-3 Campbell]
[Bellerin's godly block on the line] +
Proper match thread.
Win assured.
i...hope....we...win!!!!
but we never beat swansea. fuck
Olivier header from a Santi free kick. 1-0 to the Arsenal. Please.
Big test this. We need Sanchez to be ready, we might need him to do it alone.
Fancy us to grind out an important win here, just as long as we don't concede early. The squad may be short of depth right now but realistically we'll still have at least 9 first team players fit and starting on Saturday (10 if you consider Giroud first choice).
Rather play Campbell than shift anyone else here or there. Keep the winning team as much as possible.
Previously I said Ox need to take the chance, but since he didn't now Campbell need to take it or else he doesn't have a future here.
I'd go
---------Giroud Alexis--Ozil--Cazorla ---Coquelin-Flamini Nacho-Kos-Gabs-Bellers ----------Cech
Cech, Nacho, Kos, Gab, Bellers, Coq, Santi, Alexis, Özil, Joel, Giroud.
We need to win this!
---------Giroud Alexis--Ozil--Cazorla ---Monreal--Coquelin Gibbs--Kos-Gabs-Bellers ----------Cech
Time for the great Nacho experiment. 😉
Honestly, it's a better idea than playing Flamini.
I'd go with either Monreal in midfield or Gabriel and Bellers on the right flank.
I'd like to see it happen at some point, but I'm not sure if the benefit of moving Cazorla to the vacancy created by Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain's injuries justifies it.
I'd say it's unlikely Wenger will do it for the sake of squad harmony, it'd be quite a slap in the face to a few people if Cazorla was our new forward and Monreal our new midfielder.
Be real chaps. Flamini is going to get the nod over anyone else
I can't see Wenger wanting to change two positions in which we've been strong to compensate for losing Ramsey and Chamberlain on the right wing. Think he will chance Joel there versus Swansea.
I don't see the point of weakening 2 or 3 positions for the sake of potentially strengthening one. Keep it simple, Joel for Aaron.
This feels like one of those game we need to come away with a scrappy win.

If thats your 11 wouldn't it make more sense to just keep things the same at the back and in midfield and just play Gibbs LW and Sanchez right.
I agree with those who advocate changing the team as little as possible. We're in great form, the team is looking balanced. It would be stupid to mess up that defensive and midfield balance because we're short in a forward area.
Play Campbell on the right and just hope that Giroud, Alexis and Mesut get it done offensively.
Rambo's out it's ok Ox can play there Ox is out it's ok Theo can go back to his place Theo's out it's ok Jack can take the spot Jack's out it's ok Rozza can play wide in a pinch Rozza's out ffs it's Campbell or Flamini

No, because then Nacho wouldn't be spraying defence-splitting passes from the midfield aka I don't think you really got the point of my post.
Let's just hope Campbell can do a job in an already functioning team, like Gnabry when he scored against Swansea.
