Agreed, Wenger's quite good at managing a crisis as someone put it.
He doesn't do enough to go for the kill when he needs to but I reckon you could get him to manage Sunderland and he'd do enough to get them out of trouble, largely because he never alienates his players or panics.
There were definitely periods in 2008-2012 where things could have gone seriously wrong for us and I feel we were always able to re-group at the end.
With Mourinho, this is the second or third time he's fallen out with the players and those around him as soon as things haven't gone well - which does make him a short term manager in the eyes of many and the main reason why United (foolishly) didn't go for him.
