Everton up 2-1 in the Mercyside derby... Meireles scored a nice goal in the first half, then Distin and Beckford have scored in the second half to put Everton ahead.. and it Everton have looked good value for their lead so far.. 'Pool just look poor, and even worse without Gerrard..

United are an embarrassment. Spurs must've had >60% possession so far. Should have had the lead too if Crouch had been a fotballer and not a lamp post.

Man United are being shown up, but Spurs will bottle it if they go ahead, or ManU will take over later in the game. Spurs can't keep this pace up and have literally no defence and a midfield that can't play on the back foot.

No. Ref was correct. Article 7 of the Football Law states 'A player will be sent off for a two-footed lunge, unless said player is playing for Manchester United'.
