Highest amount of points and goals in a Serie A season ever. I've read from Roma fans that he didn't get along with their owners and he was openly sick about the hysteria regarding Totti's (lack of) involvement in the team.

Totti wasn't exactly easy to deal with, him and his wife I think were constantly in the press undermining Spalletti's authority questioning his lineups etc

Wouldn't mind him at all, if we can't get Sarri then he'd be my next best choice from Serie A. Dzeko has been class for them but his team earlier this season with El Shaarawy, Perotti and Salah was even better to watch. Midgets in the front three is where it's at

Roma lost to a terrible Lyon side over two legs in the knock outs of the Europa League as well. That wouldn't fill me with confidence.

Roma aren't a great side, that's why they lose to teams like Lyon.

I can't think of a better manager in Serie A this year than Spalletti though. He has made Roma overperform by ₂₀ points relative to their quality. He also turned Nainggolan into the best midfielder I saw this season. Rumour has it that Inter are about to announce him as their new coach.

Apparently Tuchel had a major falling out with Watzke (Dortmund CEO) and Zorc (Sporting Director).
Hence him getting the sack in spite of qualifying for champions league and winning the cup with team heavily filled with rookies.

He is very hotly tipped to take over at Leverkusen. They already have a decent squad their league position notwithstanding.
Lets see if he can be the manager to finally win something with Leverkusen.

Anything can happen in a cup tie, that same side ran riot and put three past Juventus who have the best defence in Europe. If you're holding him to that high a standard that's okay, but I don't understand how you're still backing Wenger then who got trashed by 100% garbage like Palace or West Brom

Dortmund is also really disappointed Tuchel didn't deliver in the league. They wanted the title.

Yeah they do but not at Dortmund. Their CEO is busy displacing Hoeneß and Rummenigge as the biggest dickhead in German football and their DoF (whose public nickname is Susie ffs) is always quick to heap praise on any player leaving them emphasising how they've always been honest in their desire to leave. Genuinely would rather the egghead stay at the helm than those two

My view from a far is that it's at least in part because Tuchel's personality just didn't suit the Dortmund fans or Zorc for that matter.
