I thought it was an excellent match with two very strong defences. Ibrahimovic had a poor match, Blanc should have left Cavani on instead of him.

maybe, but they are still in second and anything but dominant. and they still have to play Sevilla and Juve away... granted they have one more win than we do, but they arent exactly in pole position

It really isn't irrelevant, if you play like shit it usually catches up to you even if you get a lucky break once in a while. Of course City might get something at the Pizjuan but after this showing it's not very likely.

Out of the 4 english sides, City is probably the luckiest. Got totally outplayed at Gladbach and today against Sevilla but have 6 points.

The fact that they played poorly in tonight's game is irrelevant given that they got the points.
If you play consistently like s*** it probably will catch up with you but tonight's performance is not destined to be repeated in the remaining games, particularly if missing key players return.

i don't really feel anyway about it. i liked him at the world cup and with toulouse, but i think i said in either his thread or the debuchy thread at the time that while i like aurier, i liked the idea of bellerin starting for us more. i still feel the same way today.

Sevilla - City is very entertaining so far. Sevilla play good football but leave themselves far too open at the back. Sterling is a fantastic player on the counter and he's shown that again today.
