Great contributions there, Montana.
We should get Elneny to tap Salah up, he's incredible. Ripped Real apart time and time again tonight and unlucky not to score.
Also if Navas keeps this form for a bit longer he'll be the world's very best keeper for me very soon, did it in the beginning of the season and he's pulling some absolutely insane saves every week again now.
Didn't see Salah tonight but saw all of the first leg and I thought he was very disappointing. Definitely wouldn't have said he was anything special at all.
Didn't see the first leg but most of today's game and caught several Roma games this season as well as Fiorentina last season. He's top class, a leftfooted Walcott who can actually dribble and pick a pass.
Funny because that's exactly what he couldn't do in the first leg!
To be honest, I've seen a bit of him over the years so I'm not really holding that first leg as be all end all, I just don't think he's anything that special. Wouldn't want us to spend substantial money on him even if he's a decent enough player.
That he looks as if he couldn't score in a brothel from the games I have seen would for me constitute a problem.
He has scored 5 goals in his last 4 league games.
Salah looks like a special player on this season's evidence, but the guy destined for stardom at Roma is El Shaarawy.

unlucky not to score.
😆 Putting it lightly there.
I wishlisted Salah since he Basel days, and wishlisted him again after seeing him tear Juve apart for Fiorentina.
However, watching him extensively this season, I have changed my mind. He is a very good counter attacking player, but in a possession team like us he isn't that effective. He struggles to unlock defences when his team is on the ascendancy. Very useful player if you want to play on the counter in Europe though.
You're making a good point Clrnc, was a bit overeager after yesterday's overall performance but you're right in that he has had some problems unlocking defences that sit deep (not sure if you can call us a possession based team anymore though). Still I'd love to swap Walcott for him.

Unlucky? More like he missed his chances.
Several of his shots were pushed wide by Navas' fingertips.
Have to agree on second viewing though that he missed a couple chances too.
No, Salah took three shots, 2 of which were the 1v1s which should have been goals, and one shot that was pretty tame and an easy save.
i'm tired of these do everything but score players.
Looking forward to Chelski vs PSG.
Chelsea XI: Courtois, Azpilicueta, Cahill, Ivanovic, Kenedy; Mikel, Fabregas, Pedro, Willian, Hazard, Costa.
PSG XI: Trapp, Marquinhos, Silva, Luiz, Maxwell, Rabiot, Motta, Matuidi, Di Maria, Ibrahimovic, Moura.
Verratti out of the clash with a thigh injury. Cavani is on the bench.
Rabiot in to replace Verratti.
Motta/Matuidi/Rabiot to hold out Chelski?
Still a much better midfield than Chelsea's.
Di Maria almost slips one in.
Ibrahimovic with an outrageously cheeky touch to score, but he's offside.
George Hamilton's got a very odd way of pronouncing Ibrahimovic
