So, since finishing that mini series We Own the Night (great bit of television by the way based on a true story), I ended up watching Dopesick, about the start of the opiod crisis in the US. It kept jumping from the mid 90s all the way to the mid 2000s and told the story pretty well from the perspective of the people trying to stop big pharma from profiteering at the cost of people being pushed into addition by their drugs. It's a good little watch, and only about 8 or 9 episodes so not too much of a commitment needed.
Thought about going back to Severance but thought I'd give it a pass until season 2 comes out and binging the whole thing and instead ended up starting From. Weird show, only 3 episodes in but it's intriguing kind of like how Lost was back in the day, like wtf is going on beyond the obvious. Like how is this shit possible? Also helping push that impression id the fact the sheriff was from Lost as well. We'll see how it goes but it looks like it has potential.
