Avenue 5 is pretty good. I think it’s harder to make that sort of humour work in that setting, which means it has to be a little sillier. But I think it’s got good potential.

Tiger King was such a chore to watch. Just hyped up late night Bravo/TLC reality television. If several of your friends are recommending it you as well, I'd say give it a miss.

I think I'm getting old. I read a tweet saying "imagine that there are people who haven't watched Tiger King" and it made me not want to watch it.

I watched about 15 minutes and it looked like it was going to be a chore. I don’t need no forgotten man tiger loving murder drama. There’s too much quality tv and reading for me to waste my entertainment hours on that

You guys are getting old. I'm all for high quality scripted tv most of the time, but even that can become wearisome believe it or not

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not snobbery. I was intrigued when I read up on it, I just didn’t find it as fun or entertaining as I thought it would be.

Started The 100. I’m struggling with the acting and dialogue and has strong hunger games vibes going which isn’t a good thing for me. The lord of the flies angle is going for it though.

I've heard good things from good people. Ben Mendelsohn as the lead is a sure sign it'll be watchable, he's an actor full of craft.

There is very little good scripted TV on these days anyway. The golden era of TV is well and truly over.

Watched the first couple of episodes but it didn't hook me so I haven't gone back to it.

That it was! I have my own guilty fodder consumption so not one to stick my nose up and as Qwiss says there is entertainment there 🙂

[spoiler]I just sat there at the end thinking I've just spent seven hours on this.... and what would have been the defining arc ended up being a plot to hide in a shrub of a park in the daytime to shoot CB but for the assassin to chicken out.... 😆 [/spoiler]

Attack on Titan Season 3 is now on Netflix. Good time to binge the whole series if you haven't seen it yet.

Shows I’ve watched recently I enjoyed were Succession, Ozark, and Money Heist.
And there’s a decent Spanish movie on Netflix called The Platform

There's a very good Swedish show called The Truth Will Out (Det Som Göms i Snö). It was inspired by the biggest miscarriage of justice in the history of this country. It aired in England on Channel 4 recently: https://www.channel4.com/programmes/the-truth-will-out
