Doesn't finish particularly well in my view - certainly not 'ruthless' or at all comparable in any way to Messi in that respect, even when Messi was a kid.
He's a big talent because, as you said, he dribbles so well - moves fast with the ball glued to his feet - that's where the Messi comparisons begin and end - but from what I've seen he's pretty indecisive and clumsy in front of goal.
If he's really good Guardiola will no doubt give him a chance, that's what he does with young players, but unless I've caught him only on bad days in the final third/in front of goal, I don't think he has that sort of ability and as a result probably won't get a look in from Pep for that reason.
