Diaby's picked up an injury. Will be out for 4-6 weeks.
Poor bastard.

Agbonlahor has been named Aston Villa club captain.
Micah Richards has been named the 'on field captain'.
My local team, MalmΓΆ FF, has put in a superb first half effort in the CL qualifier against Salzburg Red Bulls. They lost the first leg 2-0 away, but are now 3-0 up at the break. Would love it if they get into the CL this year again. Swedish football needs more success at club level.

Poor bastard.
Marseille just clarified that he hasn't. They said he is going through a preparation that will take 4 to 6 weeks. Hmmm

Fenerbahce have been knocked out in the Champions League qualifiers.

Clubs that do have decent scouting like Porto or Udine don't rely on some shitty game database but send their own staff/contracted externals to the respective countries to, you know, actually scout players.
Quite a few, I would think - Coleman, Baines, Cahill - no one special, but all good mid-level PL players.
Baines and Cahill were EPL players before coming to Everton, I'll definitely give you Coleman though. I was more generally talking about players abroad by the way.

Two years without Champs League for the little boy.
Nani, are you okay? Will you tell us that you're okay?
The fact that Sevilla wanted him and he went to Fenerbache says it all. Even he thinks he's done.
He went where he would be paid the most. Nothing strange there.

Kagawa scoring against 55 kids. Pretty fun.
Trust the Japanese to try out something unique like this.
Much better than adult players dumbing down their games while playing with kids.
Also, it is pretty impressive to do this with dozens of kids swarming at your feet without losing the ball or hurting them. The last scene where they beat everyone to find five goal-keepers on the goal-line was pretty funny.
Shocking tackles matched by badass ref not even thinking about a card.
UEFA SuperCup in Tbilisi between Barcelona and Sevilla kicking off in five minutes, same fixture in 2006 ended 3-0 to Sevilla.
Right now there are some children on the pitch singing John Lennon songs because UEFA stands for peace or something.
Sevilla 1-0, Banega with a terrific FK.
Messi with an equally brilliant FK 1-1
Banega has had a couple of difficult years since he ran himself over with his car, but he's starting to resemble the player he once was. I wonder how long Sevilla get to keep him. He always seemed destined for a top club.
Jesus what a ridiculous game

I remember that story, his career was definitely a contender for the Darwin Awards. He's looking a lot better at Sevilla than in his last year or so at Valencia.

I thought you were joking.
Suarez can be quite terrible when through on goal, but he gets a nice assist.
3 freekicks, 3 goals. Incredible
Meanwhile in Netherlands, ADO's keeper just scored a fantastic backheel goal in the 94th minute to earn a draw against reigning champions PSV.
Watching a quarter of this game has made me give up on the CL this season.
Level 9 knee jerk, i accept.
head down in shame

It's the dumbest injury ever.
Banega was a steal on FM for the longest time.
another one
Reyes pulls one back. Fun game this
I missed 5 out of 6 six goals tonight....fml.
Barca taking the piss by playing Senderos at leftback.
