The French league is certainly clearly weaker than the other European top leagues although I reckon PSG would be running away with the title in England too. They have the likes of Cavani and Lavezzi wasting away on the bench ffs.

French Ligue 1 is ridiculously weak these days. It's probably the worst of the european top leagues in terms of competition. Since when in history has a club run away with 24 points lead at this stage of the season? Situation won't change anytime soon either anyway.

United were like 16 points ahead of everyone in England at this stage just a few years ago. Chelsea had already won Premier League by Christmas last year; the rest was a technicality.

Ligue 1 is a piss league, but it's not because PSG are ridiculously far ahead in the table.

Poor Everton, totally robbed of a place at Wembley. The ball was out for the 2nd goal and 3rd goal was offside.

Looked bad for De Bruyne; looked as if his knee could be seriously damaged. Don't think Aguero was offside actually, but the ball Sterling put in for the 2-1 goal was just a horrible call. Was very poor from the lino and Atkinson to not get it right between them. De Bruyne was fantastic the short time he was on the pitch btw.
