Too late i think, Pelle is a good striker.. not in the elite bracket but i'd say he offers much more of a threat than any striker we have.

Right now it looks like United have enough quality to consistently be ahead of us this season. Let's hope the signs are wrong.

I know it's starting to get old to moan about this, but I just can't believe we did nothing all summer. Why couldn't we have been proactive and at least gone for a big talent?

Klaus, it was clear from no of summer that they had a better team than us. As I said, their only question mark is center half. Good team. Just needs good coaching. Wenger has doomed us to 4th. Chelsa will be third by end of October.

And we are facing United without Coq quite likely.

I agree. I said as much at the time too, but I was still hoping that van Gaal would manage to inflate them somehow.

in most corporates i have dealt with, ExCo members have been sacked for far less than this. this rampant negligence is deflating. think about how you and i feel about this when football/Arsenal is something we experience for 2-4 hours a week. now imagine what it must feel like for Ozil, Cech and Koscielny, etc - men whose entire lives revolve around Arsenal. it must be crushing to have to go out every day know that our hopes lie in the hands (or boots) of Giroud and Walcott.

It's crazy. A giroud injury and we're down to Theo who is learning the trade as a centre forward.
