Brilliant first half this. Chelsea's aura is gone and teams are not afraid to have a go at them anymore. Everton could have scored even more goals in the first 20 or so minutes but Chelsea took over after Matic's strike. Hopefully the second half is just as fun with Everton utilizing their counter attacking potential.

Injury, but Costa is a little overrated as well.

I think there's a really strong case to be made that Matic is Chelsea's best and most important player.

According to BT sports. They're taking into account all competitions. So that's 21 goals in 37 games.

It's reasonable considering that by this time last season he scored 7 goals. He tailed off through injury and lack of form in the second half of the season.

4 in 17 (including today's game) it is. He finished last season with 3 goals in 12 games and that includes scoring a meaningless penalty in the last game to reach 20 league goals. The stat is across all competitions rather than just the PL.
