Alexis hits the post again with another free kick. 'Keeper completely out of this one.

He's just so brilliant.

Sanchez with a nodder.

Lovely. 2-0

Fuck me, Alexis just improvised an utterly brilliant diving-header and scored.

When I saw the cross, I thought to myself: "agh, there's another attack ruined by a poor final pass" and then Alexis pulls that out of the bag. Superb.

Finally, terrific run in the build up too. Deserved it just for having the balls to head it in that position.

Just got in from work and chucked the stream of this on....glad I did now!

Sanchez off. Fuck that, I'm out.

I didn't feel worthy watching that goal from Alexis. The balls to pull off that header.

Sanchez goal:

The man's a genius, shows his involvement in the build up as well.

That's a great goal. Play him at center forward!

Hear, hear.

Read somewhere that Neymar's red was for a headbutt?

the fourth goal in that Chile game was such a beauty. lesson to kids about off the ball movemen

😆 one of the jamaica players taking a selfie with messi at full time.

Quite an ugly game today with Uruguay getting 2 questionably sent off, but Chile pulls through. That Jorge Valdivia was impressive; I'm surprised he didn't play in Europe that much.

Alexis could've been badly injured with that nasty tackle at the end. And then the uruguayans straight up started shoving the ref.

Absolutely disgusting playacting from the Chile player, should be banned for a long time.

Should be punished retrospectively this kind of bullshit. Seriously.

It's not his first similar offence as he groped Suarez' genitals in the World Cup qualifiers.

Maybe he just likes Uruguayan ass you fucking homophobes.

S. Americans are something else.

Looks like Alexis will have no rest. I fancy them to win the tournament.

The whole stereotype that south americans are 'cheaty' or whatever is just racist bullshit.

Indeed, look at the South Americans we've had at Arsenal - they've probably been amongst our most well behaved players.

I think there's a fundamental misconception of what cheating means too. Everyone who's deliberately breaking the rules is cheating. Someone like Lee Cattermole is one of the biggest cheats I've ever seen in this respect. Always putting in illegal tackles to gain an advantage he's not good enough to gain otherwise.

some comic refereeing in the arg col match going on

ospina is the luckiest player i've ever seen. Ive put off saying that for very long. Very unconventional looking but all the balls come towards hime or people miss targets in open goals. amazing looking double save against aguero and messi on rebound, both in the goalie's D.

😆 this argentina coach, didn't even put tevez in first 5 penalty kicks.

Tevez lost them the last Copa America, he himself probably didn't want to be among the first five.

Ridiculous penalty shootout, first six penalties were extremely well taken (Garay's was retardedly good) then the last four or five.. 😆

Ospina though he is short doesn't have a neck so his body is as long as most keepers therefore he pulls off these saves. It's not luck, he does it too often for it to be that

Ospina was just amazing last night. Wow. Really should not have been on the losing side.
He did not save a penalty but he went the right way for 5 out of the 8 or something like that(the first 5 penaltys were perfect, unstoppable), but he just carried them to penalty shootout

Don't know why everyone is amazed Ospina had a good game, he is a good keeper.

Makes no difference what so ever if we have him or the has been Cech in goal next season.

Ospina's amazing double save. He was unbeatable yesterday, even during the penalties he almost saved some unstoppable pens. One of the great goalkeeping performance ever in the Copas.

This is world class as well.

EDIT: Here's a better angle.
