I would hazard a guess that Tierney is ahead of schedule. I remember when he signed he was seen talking to Rob Holding and said he reckoned he would be back in 6 weeks, but it could be sooner.
That was 3 weeks ago now, there's an international break coming up after the Tottenham game. All being well, we should be okay.

Kieran Tierney
Groin. Continues to receive treatment and further assessments. Aiming to participate in full training in October.
It'd be great if he's back early obviously, but my gut feeling is that if the timeline changes it's probably going to get extended, not shortened. Lennon talked about him being back in 2-3 weeks during his first press conference at Celtic, and we all know that didn't happen. The reports that said months had been added to his projected recovery were actually bang on despite Lennon's refutal. This injury seems more complicated than anyone originally expected. Six months is a hell of a long time to be out nursing a groin.
If Tierney can't even train with the team until October then it'll take him another 4-6 weeks or so to get fit enough to play in Premier League, and then an unknown amount of time before he can start games regularly. This is turning into quite a headache and I'm starting to wonder if we should have pursued another target considering everything else that is going on with the team. The lad better be champagne when he debuts for us.
