Ramsey's movement was brilliant, a real threat, probably our only threat. It's just that his technical level is inconsistent. His touches and control range from sublime to shocking.

Could have made the subs without taking off the guy who effectively protected both fullbacks.

But I agree, we looked dangerous. Jack in particular had a good performance tonight. I'd probably start him against United if he's up for it.

It was more a collective inability of the team to break Swansea down, they don't seem to have the right ideas. That said, we still had enough chances to win overall.

I don't think we looked more dangerous, more desperate I'd say - in and around the penalty area we either kicked the ball directly at a Swansea player or shot / passed into Fabianski's hands

We had enough openings today. Our final attempts were disappointing, either in their execution or the greed at times.

Thought Bellerin was poor, too many Sagna esque back passes to Mertesacker, and not tight enough on Montero.

Eventually the goal is on the back four. Coquelin or not, Bellerin and Monreal should be doing better. Disappointing to see Monreal not challenging for the ball. He had such a good game up until that point. The center backs completely lost Gomis too.

Think we lack truly world class players at the sharp ends of the pitch. A keeper like De Gea or Courtios, a centrback like Terry or Thiago Silva and a striker like Costa or Aguero. Basically, what Henry said after the Chelsea game. I agreed with him then and I agree with him now.

Thought Bellerin had Montero in his pocket for every moment of the game except that one. And even then Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal and Ospina were far worse.

Those were not pot shots from 50 yards but 100% scoring chances which every PL level forward should put away with ease. We were never able to open them up or get into good scoring chances for most of the match as we did in those 20 minutes IMO.

No one would dare say it, but he's right.
Not enough focus coming into this game - I don't agree any of Ramsey, Oz, Cazorla, Sanchez or Giroud had shitty
performances, but all were not sharp. In fact true for the entire team.

Disappointed spinner didn't take it, it's a shot he'd normally take.

Personally I don't agree with that assessment, but it's not a particularly foolish opinion.

Proof again tonight that our strengths can be nullified against strictly disciplined, well organised, mass defences.

That pressure and crowding is just enough to hurry our attackers into taking snap shots and making mistakes.

I thought the teams approach today seemed pretty poor, whether the preparation wasn't great or their attitude was poor. We were also very wasteful with the few chances we had. But ultimately we didn't do enough, the problem is of we want to be in the title race next year we cannot switch off like that and lose games like today. Its the reason we are 10 points behind Chelsea and will be again. Kos had a great performance, totally nullified Gomis until the goal where he didn't seem to be near. That is our massive issue, we can control a game and concentrate for 90% and then really let ourselves down for 10% which has invariably cost us goals and points.
