Metro seems to think we've been given greenlight by PSG to sign Adrien Rabiot in January. I hope it's true. I really like that guy.
Starlets Linked

Massively talented and Basel know it, Wolfsburg offered more than 20m already and they didn't even think about it. I'd rather splash 50m on this kid than Martial for example.
Rabiot would be ace

That'd be great.
one of the conditions is rabiot's mom has to be made a board member
what? I dont get it...
rabiot's mum has a track record of being quite vocal in the press about her sons career trajectory, i believe. i've wanted us to sign him for a while, could be groomed to take cazorla's place, or play in tandem with ramsey. seems a bit injury prone though.
I'd probably know this if I watched PSG more, but does this cat even play? Only seen him occasionally as a sub.
He doesn't get into the side which is why he wants to move. He's 20 and has around 80 first team appearances for a club that arguably has one of the top 3 midfields in the world, though. I think he'd start for us within a season.
Looks to have all the tools to succeed
Loads of top talents out there at the mo
Maybe not a young'un no more but we were linked to Jese Rodriguez yesterday
Jese should get his own thread/go into houseboat, not a starlet imo. I'd snap your hand off if he gets back to the level he was at before his injury, a front three of Alexis Theo and Jese would be the fastest in world football. His agent is making noises that he's unhappy with his lack of playing time, hope we're on the case for once.
Also on Isco's case. He's someone I can see wengs opening his wallet for
Jese before his injury looked really promising.
Wasnt it recently revealed that Wenger has decided not to sign players who have family members as their representatives?
Sounds like bull to me. It didn't stop us from signing Özil. Agents are a nuisance regardless of whether they're related to the players they represent or not. Handling them is part and parcel of running a football club.
So we're not signing players represented by; Jorge Mendes, Jonathan Barnet, Darren Dein or family members.
Hmmm...prob just get Henry back again in Jan and call it a day.
Agents often have really good relations with clubs. A good agent can't bring 3 top youngsters to your academy every season. If as a club you have a lot to offer then agents will help rather than hinder the move.
Some clubs have a name for being a nightmare to negotiate with and if you have 5 offers your not going to wrestle with the nightmare club.
But let's be honest if Sanchez had the choice of us and Bayern his agent would be pushing for Bayern because its the best move for the player. While a club like Liverpool and spurs are seen as an ideal development stepping stone between lower clubs and top clubs. They have no chance at all of getting Sanchez.
Metro, Express and other news media thinks that we are about to sign Barcelona B captain Alex Grimaldo who plays as a left back.
Yep looks a top talent
Snake hips
L'Equipe apparently linked us with Kylian Mbappé, 17 year old winger at AS Monaco. Youth product from Clairefontaine so there should be some talent to work with. Got an assist when they played Spurs in the EL
Better dribbling than anything I've seen from Ox in the last two years
Want. He looks a great talent
Is Martin Ødegaard actually good or is the kid just hype because he's from a country that doesn't produce any good footballers?
I'm asking because we've been very loosely linked lately and it feels like a Wengerish signing. His stock has fallen in Spain and with Zinedine Zidane as the resident manager he's not going to get any playing time in the Real Madrid first team.
I don't think there's any chance they'll sell him. Whether it's justified hype or not, who knows. He was the best player in Tippeligaen when he was 16. That's impressive even though it's not a good league. Mostly because, as opposed to Lukaku, he dominated in spite of his physicality, not be cause of it.
That both Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Barcelona invited him over and wanted to sign him does tell you that this isn't just Norwegians raving about our first decent talent in ages.
Some big boots to fill too after the combined might of the likes of Carew and Riise.
I'm not surprised you can't see past his nationality.

Fuck Carew, always score against us.
Seems we showed some interest in Bjorn Engels, a 21 year old CB in Belgium.
"That [a move to Dortmund or Arsenal] is a bridge too far for me at the moment. A mid-table team [in a big league] would be the ideal next step for me and there have been some serious offers from such teams," Engels told Het Laatste Nieuws, as quoted by the Evening Standard.
"I am staying calm, though. I only want to be informed about it when Club also agree to a transfer.
"I am 100% focused on Club now and that will not change so long as I am here. Playing in the Champions League is a nice prospect as well. We will have to wait and see what happens."
Engels admitted that he has drawn comparisons with new Manchester City signing John Stones. The England international left Everton and moved to the Etihad on a £47.5m ($62.2m) deal.
"I recognise a bit of myself in John Stones. Similar in height, in stature, and also a defender who's looking to play out from the back," Engels was quoted as saying by the Liverpool Echo.
"Comfortable with the ball at his feet, strong in the air, occasionally scoring a goal. I look at him when he's playing. What's he doing? How is he positioning himself on the pitch
Not sure we need another 21 year old CB.
Miguel Almiron. Paraguayan dubbed "the new Kaka". http://metro.co.uk/2016/08/30/arsenal-eye-late-transfer-for-paraguay-midfielder-miguel-almiron-6098374/

I've been scouting him for 6 months. Class dribbler.
You are scouting players now? That the hobby you decided on in the end?
Better dribbler than Ox? Surely puts him in rarified company.
Apparently, Manchester City bid 40m euros for Mbappe. He's going to be Monaco's next Anthony Martial (in terms of transfer fee).
