What are you even arguing about? Everyone knows Cech has been influential in Chelsea's success, while Mikel has been a part time player.

Just to be clear, you're equating Mikel's contributions to Chelsea to Cech's?

Or are you trying to a point on how a players trophy haul doesn't mean much because Wes Brown/O'Shea/Mike/JS Park etc have a similar collection? If it's the latter, save it.

Some interesting stuff. I must admit, I'm really hoping he follows Cech over because I think it'll have an effect on Courtois' development and weaken Chelsea somewhat. Bad news for short arse Ospina though!

I'd imagine it's exactly the sort of thing he'd love to here an Arsenal goalkeeping coach saying, that's for sure. Like I said, hopefully it happens.

This new coach could be making of Szczesny. Learning from him and Cech will do him a world of good.

Think so too. If Sneezey isn't a quitter, then a 33 year old first choice will make him knuckle down, work harder than ever, and look to overtake him when the older guy is declining.

Would a Goalkeeper coach not have influence of the defence as well? Not control as such, but an understanding of the cooperation required and expectations of the defence from the goalkeepers perspective.
