Thats probably a very good move. We've had a few keepers who should've done better/made less silly mistakes. No doubt Fabianski has looked far better since leaving.

Real Madrid's goalkeeping coach has less than 80 appearances in the Spanish second division in his entire career.

Edit: While am at it, turns out Bayern Munich's goalkeeping coach has 90 appearances in the German second division to his name as well. I think that's enough to debunk any issues you have with Peyton. He may not be a good coach but that's got nothing to do with his playing career,

Edit 2: and as I'm sure you're wondering, the goalkeeping coach at United right now has a proud career playing in the Dutch second division. Chelsea's goalkeeping coach doesn't even get a fucking Wikipedia page.

I remember reading at the time we were first linked with Cech, that his goalkeeping coach at Chelsea, Christophe Lollichon, would follow him to Arsenal. Lollichon has been at Chelsea since 2007 and was at Rennes with Cech before that - so he's worked with him for nearly all of his career. Supposed to be a very good coach.

Possibly because they had physical/mental limitations as to why they could never reach the highest level. Doesn't mean they don't know what they're talking about or understand the technical aspects of goalkeeping. Funnily enough some say top players rarely become top managers/coaches.

Yeah yeah yeah I know all that, I've said it myself- Peyton was a crap goalie but then he became a crap coach too.
Peyton Primorac and the rest of those cunts, the sooner we're rid of them the better.

Roberts is extremely close to Fabianski and he is joining Swansea because of him apparently.

That would also leave a space for Lollichon to join, who is similarly inseperable with Cech. It all make sense now.

Great players rarely become great coaches, what's Bergy going to tell young lads "just flick it past Dabizas like I did"?

Coaching requires study and discipline- It's like at school- if you're no good at sports or picking up girls you may as well just study......
