Dunno Rucks. The guy just seems very clumsy at times whilst at others seeming like he has a really good touch. He might be alright at CB but I would have preferred to loan him out and learn his trade elsewhere and come back when he's ready rather than sitting him on our bench or risking points playing him here.
Defence (especially CB) is one of those positions where mistakes through inexperience will cost us goals. Further up the pitch and to the wide areas it's not as dangerous but centre backs and goalkeepers are areas where experience is a lot more important than the rest of the field.
Problem is we'd be then left with just 3 CBs again so it wouldn't be possible. Best thing would be to get an experienced 4th choice CB in on a short term 2 year deal who can do a job 5-10 times a season, ship Chambers out on loan, then bring him back in a year or two when he's ready.
