It would be utterly ridiculous for us to get involved in that for a player who probably wouldn't even start for us yet. I mean, he'd be competing with Alexis, Walcott, Chambo, and if Wenger persists with this Cazorla in the middle nonsense, he'd also compete with Ramsey and Wilshere.

Sterling should stay at Liverpool next season, which I think he will anyway because of Liverpool being the dicks they are. Then, next summer, let's see where things are at. With just 1 year remaining on his contract then, perhaps Liverpool will cut the crap and be a little more serious with their valuation of the player.

BR won't last the season & they'll bring in Klopp & Sterling will stay.

Doubt it. Both regarding Rodgers and Sterling tbh. Look at the players Liverpool is able to attract; Ings, Milner, Lallana, Lambert and that no name goalkeeper. The club isn't going anywhere, and no manager is going to change that.

IMO BR is the main issue & we'd see a different outcome with Klopp at the helm, let alone if FSG gave him 100m to rebuild.
IIRC Sterling has already said he'd stay if Klopp was manager.

I must say I don't have as much sympathy with Sterling as some of you guys. I think City got in his head a while ago and I think he knows exactly what he's doing. He knows exactly the sort of crack pot club he's with and I think he's taking advantage of that fact to try and make his position untenable.

Don't get me wrong - I have no sympathy for him & nor do I particularly want him, although I'd take him as a swap deal for Walcott - as you said LFC have more issues that Walcott & Gibbs are not going to solve.

Saw a debate on ESPN regarding Klopp about a week ago where some deluded scouse twat came up with the theory that Klopp decided to take a year off the moment he saw Rodgers staying at Liverpool for another season meaning his dream job was off the table. Go figure.

I don't believe it unless it comes from a number of different sources and is repeated over a period of time/weeks, otherwise it's filed under 'useless information' until proven otherwise, & used as 'filler' in conversations as above.

Regards the Sterling, Klopp & LFC scenarios one of the LFC supporters at work follows an ITK who supposedly has an 80%+ success rate, who has also 'confirmed' the various & separate reports re Sterling & others, & of Klopp wanting the LFC job & that the decision for him to take a break & BR not being sacked were directly related, but not sure which was the lead decision made.

Supposedly one of the main issues for Sterling re BR has been that he was used in 8 different starting positions in the various different formations used, & only played double figures as CF.
