Plus we have enough players of Sterling's level for the wide positions. Either we aim higher, or we don't aim at all.

Whilst I think Sterling has the attributes we want to unlock compact defences he doesn't provide the extra goal threat we currently need.
As such IMO he's only an option if there is a player swap involved, and even then we'd still need to improve our goal scoring capability.

According to "Bild", Bayern have talked to Sterlings management and "couldn't come to terms".

He shares the same agent as Chamberlain and we haven't had any problems with him.

IMO makes sense not to sign with Liverpool. They aren't going anywhere as a club. If he signs a new contract with them he's stuck without Cl for the next few years barring some miracle.

Come on, Sterling's not gonna price himself out of a move to Bayern Munich. No one can surely believe that ffs. If there's any truth to Bayern even being in for him, let alone failing to 'agree terms' it won't be because he wants too much money. Don't fall for the Scouse smear campaign!

Doubt Bayern see him as a real marquee signing, so would surprise me if they were willing to pay the fee Liverpool would want. I would imagine Sterling does not have a huge reputation abroad.
