Walcott?? Man barely merits to be in the squad right now let alone start.
Like he's done for us, he had like embarrassing 14 touches on the ball and 6 passes for England, how super shit is that?
He's a ghost and liabilty atm, the injury has made him even more fragile, he's scared of any sort of contact.
Welbeck is ahead of Walcott now. Ox too, when he comes back from injury.
If Wenger doesn't think he will sign, we may see him frozen out like Wiltord was at the end of his time here.
Walcott will come on in the second half and Walcott will score.
Woah, speaking of Wiltord:

:gape:
If Wenger starts Walcott tomorrow, I will head over and put the gaffer in a Perfect Plex. This is no time for putting our fate in God's hands. We go with the front 4 we trust - Welbeck, Ozil, Sanchez, Giroud. We can bring Walcott on later in the game once Welbeck and Sanchez have exhausted the Liverpool fullbacks.
If Walcott starts it will be because Welbeck got injured on international duty and isn't quite ready to start. I hope he is, though.
Walcott isn't starting. Gabriel vs Per is a big call, not sure Wenger trusts Gabriel yet but it would be helpful to have somebody who runs faster than I do against Liverpool's front line.

He's got an annoying face and he scores goals for Spurs

Is Wenger brave enough to leave one of Cazorla, Özil or Ramsey on the bench? Personally, I think not, and we will see Özil on the flank instead of Welbeck.
I expect this team:
---------------Ospina
Bellerin--Gabriel--Koscielny--Monreal
---------Coquelin----Ramsey
Alexis---------Cazorla--------Özil
---------------Giroud
I hope we don't go with some of the gung ho line-ups I'm seeing on this page. I'd like to see a proper midfield 3 and a front 3 of Ozil-Giroud-Alexis. Liverpool are capable of doing to us what United did to them two weeks ago(ie pressing us high up the pitch and controlling the game, just like they did when we played them at Anfield), playing so many forwards will make it very easy for them to do that.
We need some sort of control in a game like this, doesn't mean I'd like us to mainly play in their half, we could sit deeper and still dictate the game.
I'd go:
------------Giroud
Alexis-Ramsey-Santi-Ozil
------------Coq
Monreal-Kos-Merte-Hector
-----------Ospina
URGENT TRAVEL MESSAGE FOR SUPPORTERS
Fans travelling to today's match face disruption following an overnight fire in a block of flats close to Emirates Stadium.
Emergency services are still at the scene and Hornsey Road, which is a main route to the south of Emirates Stadium, is currently closed.
Buses will be diverted and the club advises supporters to find alternative routes and to expect delays.

Getting really nervous now...the 12;45 kick off scares me more then Liverpool.
We're the form team but the difference on that level is marginal, definitely playing at the Emirates is an advantage.
The unknown is who'll be less affected by the International break.
Need Giroud to dominate Lovren, and for Ramsey, Coquelin and our fullbacks to win their battles and control their areas.

Agreed and added extra.
Since a win is more important to Liverpool than to us, we should be able to lay low like at Etihad, as long as we can deal with their attack.
Rex squad for me (though if it's Mert it still might work).
Walcott? why? what has he done in the past, well - very long time, to have a place in the team?
I can see a case of subbing him on late, when the opponent goes all out and we can use his speed (and finishing, if it ever comes back) or against tired legs.
But start him?
Hate morning games. Hope we come through this, massive game.
Wenger being our manager scares me more than Liverpool. It means we have absolutely no clue which Arsenal will turn up. Liverpool's defensive record is outstanding, btw - we'll definitely need to see someone really step it up in attack to overcome that.
