BTW i think Falcao will love it in London, in a team as organized as Chelsea and under a coach like Mourinho. Seems the type. Will do well, much better than old man Drogba did last season as a 2nd striker.

United played with two strikers though and van Persie was coming off the back of a really poor season, while Rooney was earmarked for a midfield role.

On Falcao - Monaco had to buy him outright, didn't they? No more of third party ownership for him then. He then HAS a choice; either to play for Monaco, or to go to whichever club is prepared to loan/buy him. When he was at Atletico he had no say in if he should stay there, or be sold to a club he would agree to go to. He just had to go.

They may have had to legally buy him out, but it doesnt mean his agent doesnt still control him or cannot pimp him around as he wishes.

In the end, now, it will be entirely his own decision though. He can choose to either listen to his agent or not. Before, he had no say, so there is a big difference IMO.

The whole South American game and player market is controlled by agents and 3rd party owners. Falcao has been the prime example of that. Even if they were forced to remove it legally, you know he is not actually free to choose as he pleases.
