He's regressed in the last year or two but there's still a top class keeper in there. Don't necessarily want him here but I hope some team activates the clause, loved the days when they had utter clowns like Gomes in goal.

20m is a lot more than he's worth. No better than Szczesny or Ospina. Hope we stay clear.

Agreed. Staggeringly overrated goal keeper.

I don't think so. In terms of coming for the ball he's the best in the league and he's a good shot stopper too.

The best after Court toys and De gea.

Aurier completes permanent deal to PSG.

I would take Lloris ahead of Szczesny. I almost feel that Ospina has hardly been tested, so it's still hard to get a real read on him but I've largely been comfortable. A guy like De Gaea has been frequently exposed by the rubbish United defense and has made some ridiculous stops. He's the only goalie in the league who we can fully vouch for. Unfortunately, the better goalies tend to play behind excellent defenses, so it's really hard to get a full sense of their strengths and weaknesses, with only glaring things being visible: e.g., Szczesny's walkabout tendencies.

They have long ends, Dules. Can afford a team that big

Rumours about Pogba to PSG. Verratti and Pogba in midfield

That's horrible. What becomes of Blaise then? I'd bag him like groceries.

Also some rumors about Di Maria being bought by them. Would be hilarious.

That is where he wanted to go all along. He was forced into the transfer because Man Utd made an offer to R.Madrid and Mendes that PSG wouldn't match. Those idiots supposedly blew their budget on David Luiz thinking they'd spend what they want and suddenly backed down due to FFP.

Saying that I don't think they'll get rid of Di Maria unless R.Madrid want to sell Bale.

Yep. Reckon they might cash in on Thiago Silva soon too. He's getting on a bit and won't have much value left in a few years. Marquinhos was bought as the eventual replacements and has enough talent to do it.

Even at 30, Thiago is still worth a 20m cheeky bid. I'm sure United would offer even more than that. Now Klaus, that's the improvement in quality that you pay for (relative to Koscielny + Mertesacker).

Thiago Silva would be a 'watch out we're coming for the league' signing for us. Would love it. United will go for Hummels and won't have space for Silva.

Not sure I'd really want Silva tbh, don't think he'd form a particularly good partnership with Kos. Plus he'd be old and close to decline, expensive, adapting to a new league and country, etc.

Definitely. I reckon he's either Real or Barca bound though. His last big transfer will be to Spain.

Just seeing Bayern's squad I think they'll be spending big this summer.

Robben turns 32 in January.
Ribery has turned 32.
Lahm's 32 in November.
Schweinsteiger is 31 in August.

I think letting Shaqiri go in the winter was a mistake. They have no pace beyond the 2 above now and both are injured.

Their squad is obviously good enough to win the Bundesliga easily but if they want to compete in the CL think they'll need to spend.

They can spend more 150-200m euros if they want and revamp the squad.
